DESIGN CONCEPT
The project set out to redefine the conventional sales office as an immersive architectural journey. Rather than constructing a standalone pavilion, the design reclaims a disused factory-shed and inserts a contemporary experience centre within its industrial framework, creating a powerful dialogue between the site's manufacturing past and its residential future. Visitors move through a sequence of carefully choreographed spaces, from lush landscaped entry courts and tranquil reflecting pools, to intimate meeting rooms and immersive AV spaces - where architecture becomes a story-telling device for the development. The contrast between the exposed steel factory structure and the warmth of terracotta-inspired brickwork, establishes a strong regional identity, while celebrating Bengal's material heritage. Extensive glazing, planted courtyards, and abundant natural light, blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, creating a calming, hospitality-driven environment, rather than a transactional sales space. By transforming industrial remnants into a memorable brand experience, the project demonstrates how architecture can elevate commercial engagement through place-making, narratives, and sensory immersion.
