DESIGN CONCEPT
The diverse nature of the building’s occupation is expressed in the use of contrasting brick- clad residential floors on top of a more transparent and delicate lower commercial base. The exposed two level staircase along the front facade engages its users with the adjacent street bringing the private and public in closer contact.
MATERIAL PALETTE
- External walls of exposed brick
- External glazing accentuated with a mild steel lattice framework
- External cladding of vertically arranged, reclaimed wooden louvers
- Window openings highlighted with precision- cut Jaisalmer stone cladding
