DESIGN CONCEPT
An attempt to create an identifiable spatial identity for a high-end residential building using the common areas and amenities as public spaces for the residents. A variety of modest materials finished in diverse and interesting ways creates a good balance between familiarity and the extra ordinary. The highlight is the first floor swimming pool, open from all sides and lit seductively, creating a true gathering place for all residents.
MATERIAL PALETTE
  • Feature walls of leathered, flamed and polished steel grey granite
  • Floors of large slabs of polished Lady Gray and Gray William Italian marble
  • Ceilings of custom designed, laser cut cement board “jaali” work
  • Pools lined with handmade, hand painted, aquamarine ceramic kiln tiles
